DESIGN AND ARTWORKING project FOR GYMSHARK british BODYBUILDING EVENT.
Gymshark entered the bodybuilding community for the first time on the 14th and 15th of October 2023 - a collaboration with their athlete Ryan Terry for the British Championships. This offered an exciting opportunity for the brand team, as we had new territory to play with in terms of visual direction. As my final project at Gymshark, I was appointed lead designer, and spear-headed the ideation, development, pitch, and final production of the event’s visual identity.
MY APPROACH - ROUTED IN HUMAN FORM AND PHYSIQUE - WAS TO COMBINE classic bodybuilding gyms WITH new era aesthetics.

In order for us to strengthen the link between the event ID and Ryan Terry himself, an opportunity arose for us to explore 3D body scans. Creating a render of Ryan would be utilised across assets, and treated with metallic textures to cohere with the proposed design route.
